How to make Lavender Bags – handmade lavender bags a great present for a Mum, Grandma, Auntie and with Mothering Sunday happening ( in the UK) on March 18th, how lovely would it be to give a set of handmade lavender bags.  Use them to scent drawers, wardrobe or shoe boxes. A handmade gift is always special. These lavender bags are easy to make, smell wonderful and lovely to receive.

What you will need to make 3 lavender bags

  • 6 squares of material (10x10cm)
  • 200g dried lavender
  • Thread
  • Ribbon

Take 2 squares of your material and with right sides together, 1cm from the edge stitch 3 sides of your bag

Turn your bag out the right way pushing out the corners

Fill each bag , with a 1/3 of your Lavender

Turn in the raw edges on the open side of your bag and either by hand or with your machine sew the open side

There we are you have a lavender bag, for a beautiful gift make 3 and tie them together with a piece of ribbon. Your Mum, Grandma, Auntie or whoever you chose to receive this gift will love it.
