It is time to make the Elderflower cordial, which means it should be warm, sun filled days, well it isn’t here. There have been little glimpses of the sun and oh welcome they are! Nature is continuing and the Elderflowers are out so you need to grab your chance and pick them ready to make cordials, syrups and champagne.

The recipe for Elderflower Cordial is now posted on the new site www.katiecraig.com, I am hoping that the new site will allow all the recipes and projects to be easily found – please let me know what you think.

The lovely thing about Elderflower cordial is that you can use it in so many ways, drinks, fruit fools, ice creams, salad dressing, not only now but if you store it in a plastic bottle you can freeze it. I have done this for the past few years – good fun to bring some out for Christmas.

So what have you planned to do this weekend? If you can  pick some Elderflower and make some cordial.

Dont forget you can follow us on facebook, twitter and now you can pin with me on pinterest

Take care and thank you for reading
